Those Crazy Pandas: LCD Soundsystem's "Drunk Girls"

This is infact a really messed up music video for LCD Soundsystem's "Drunk Girls." It's right up their alley though. I was laughing hysterically, even though they were being awfully cruel. Meh, watever! Those crazy pandas...

Moon

If you have Netflix you should check out the movie "Moon" starring Sam Rockwell ("Galaxy Quest" and "Hitchhiker's Guide"). Rockwell plays Sam Bell who has signed a three year contract to harvest Helium-3 on the moon for Lunar Industries. His only companion is a computer system named Gwerty who is voiced by Kevin Spacey. The movie takes place within his last two weeks before returning home to be with his wife and daughter where he begins to lose his sanity, or so he thinks. Things take a twist as he learns more about what he is doing there. This was a phenomenal movie that I wasn't expecting. I've always liked Sam Rockwell but he really shows his acting prowess here. Another factoid is this movie was directed by Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie.

Jumpin' Jigawats! It's Delorean

Today's band of the week is Delorean (not to be confused with the rapper or the metal band...yeah, I didn't know about those either). They're music is straight up fun to groove in your chair to. These four are a dance pop group from Spain, which I wouldn't have guessed until reading up on them. Fans of Cut Copy will surely like Delorean enjoying their surprisingly thought provoking beats. Check out their new album Subiza.
