Kicking the, kicking the, kicking the ball! We are Scientists attempt for England's World Cup anthem
The band We are Scientists have decided to write an anthem for England's world cup national team. Read their tips on how to create one here."The football anthem occupies a genre all of its own. Official World Cup 2010 song chosen: k'Naan's "Waving Flag"
So I can't wait for the World Cup this year...go South Korea! I just bought a sweet pair of England Adidas kicks too in celebration. Anywho, newsflash, the official song was chosen for the series, k'Naan's "Waving Flag." It's really uplifting and quite a beautiful energetic video of the crowd dancing! (Also, while listening I thought, 'Wow, this really sounds like something straight out of a Coca-Cola commercial...then behind them is the Coke logo :-p)
