Gogol Bordello

It's been a while since I've brought you guys more music that I enjoy. If you've ever seen "Wristcutters: A Love Story" (which if you haven't, you need to see), then you're familiar with the group Gogol Bordello. My friends went to Van's Warped Tour and discovered these guys and then showed me. They're like a band of musical Russian pirates or something who make amazingly fun music.(Apparently it's classified as "gypsy punk" but I hate gypsies so I'm not calling it that :-p). The name originated from Nikolai Gogol, a man who smuggled Ukrainian society into Russia, and Bordello, meaning "gentleman's club." The first song I heard by them was "Start Wearing Purple," so I'll start with that song.

The Humanthesizer

Electronic musician Calvin Harris has created what he calls "The Humanthesizer," which is just what it sounds like...a human synthesizer. Check it out as he takes beautiful girls and plays his new single "Ready for the Weekend."

Ever wanted to see your friend naked?

This is an amazing invention. Ever wanted to see your friend naked? Well buy her the Naked Bikini. It looks like a regular swimsuit, but after three minutes in the water, the suit falls apart! Hahahaha!

Making Rooms with Ikea

I can't wait to get my own place so I can start buying stuff to decorate and make it my own. Strange thinking about how expenditures go from buying dumb pointless things like videogames and other stuff to more adult things like room decor. Anyways, Ikea is one of the places I'm sure to shop at when the time comes and they've made a really cool way to browse with the "Space Maker." You can create your own room from scratch with Ikea stuff. It even keeps a price tally to show you how much everything you've used will cost. It's really cool. Check it out if your bored. The picture posted is the one I created (click to enlarge). Enjoy!

KABOOM! Lighting hits

So today turned out to be pretty badass. The weather brought upon a terrible storm (which made traffic at TJ Maxx slow, huzzah!" Well my friends pulled up and ran thru the rain, so I thought i'd watch and laugh. They walked in right behind them across the street a lightning bolt hit a transformer and KABOOM! Giant explosions, fire and electricity everywhere. I was like, omg, that's amazing. I'm going to call 911 now. Response time: 15 mins...damn. That and the flipping car I've seen are now the two coolest things I've seen personally.
