Mercury Rev is today's musical find. Their sound is unique and mystical. I'd say, the calm wonderment of Coldplay + the industrial electric sounds of late 90's David Bowie. They're often compared to the Flaming Lips, for good reason, considering lead singer Jonathan Donahue played with them from 1989-1991. Mercury Rev's recently come out with two cd's.
