Yes, it is only on this special day that we as individuals have the ability to plant a tree or care about the plamet and the environment. It's time to go save the world..then forget about it tomorrow.
Just kidding, but, you get the idea. Sustainable actions should be a part of all our daily lives. I'm not sure how (and definately not thru my own doing, being away from my apartment as much as humanly possible), we managed to get a letter telling us that our apartment room had used the most electricity last month in the entire complex. That is just terrible, and I think I know who to blame.*cough cough ratdog* Sorry for the tangent. Anywho, there is a really cool movement that started up the last few years that you should check out. It's "Earth Hour." Across the globe, for one hour, an entire city shuts down.
